Make it entirely theirs.
There is room for something they enjoyed, something kind they would like to do, and a Christmas wish in words or a drawing. Every section is optional. This is a small creative activity, not a test of handwriting or a promise of a present.
Print, pick up a pencil, begin.
- Download the blank PDF. It opens without an account, email address or payment.
- Choose A4 portrait in your PDF print controls. “Fit” is a useful starting point if your printer needs a margin. One black-and-white page is enough.
- Write, draw or ask a grown-up to help with the words. Add a name or nickname after “With love”.
- If you want to post it, use our Royal Mail guide for the envelope details. Keep the child’s home address off the activity sheet itself.
Use the sheet freely at home or in a classroom. A few decorated envelopes and a pretend postbox can also make a lovely activity without sending anything.
Looking for Santa’s reply instead?
This sheet is for a child’s message to Santa. Our letter-from-Santa maker is a different free activity for grown-ups: create a personalised pretend reply, certificate and poem on your own device.
This is a blank download, not an online submission. We do not receive what you write or draw. Optional analytics counts the download link only; read our privacy notice.
